Born and raised in the 'City of Joy' Kolkata, Ankit Arora is a filmmaker based in Mumbai, with over 17 years of experience in the media entertainment industry.
He has directed various long form and short form content, spanning genres of fashion, lifestyle, documentaries, reality and sports, which have been shot across the globe. He has also handled renowned international reality formats, game shows and brand films.
Over the years Ankit has created content for leading production houses, brands and having been a broadcaster, Ankit brings an overall perspective of content, its scalability and viability. Ankit’s vision of a product, direction and narration adapts to the need of varied audiences.
Having also developed and lead, Transmedia Content Strategy for the Bengaluru Airport T2 terminal, Ankit is further exploring transmedia storytelling as a tool to bring about social change.
